Cartier and America

Through May 9, Cartier and America at the Legion of Honor covers the history of the House of Cartier from the Belle Epoque through to the 1970s. More than 200 objects are on display including jewelry of the Gilded Age and Art Deco periods, as well the famous Mystery Clocks. Marking Cartier’s 100 years in the United States, the exhibition concentrates on pieces owned by Americans. Cartier made its mark with the ingenuity of its designs and its exquisite craftsmanship.
